Load Balancers, little money to get the most
ORDER NOwPerformance that is out of the box
The hardware is the best and cutting edge when it comes to DooxCloud. Regardless of the resources that are required by the project, it is the best service that is offered. The performance can be enhanced with the AMD EPYC 2nd Gen, Intel® Xeon® Gold processors, and speedy NVMe SSDs.
Instant Delivery
The server instance setup will not take long and this means that you are ready to go within seconds. The interface has been awesome and very friendly. The best thing is that the setup can be completed within 10 seconds.
Viable usability
As the interface is easy to use this will make sure that the navigation is easy and takes almost seconds. The speedy load times, as well as the interface usability, make DooxCloud the best and the most used service that is highly recommended.
No Contract
There is no contractual requirement and therefore you can cancel anytime. The best thing is that if you use the service for less than a month then you will only pay the hourly rates. You are invoice for the server as long as it exists. If you don’t want to use a server it is advised to simply delete it so that you are not charged.
Features of the Service
Load Balancer
It is the most important component of the entire system. It makes sure that the resources are not exhausted at all. The infrastructure is balanced when it comes to the traffic and this is all because of the load balancer that will distribute the traffic. The cases such as TLS termination and internet-facing entry point to the DooxCloud network.
Networks
The topologies that are created using this private network are highly complex and at the same time, they can also be very easy to understand. The DB server can easily be configured with the queries that make it unreachable by the public. Another similar services that are supported are the Kubernetes cluster.
Firewalls
To secure the infrastructure it is important that the firewalls are configured and it is the best way to secure the data as well. The rules are easy to define to make sure that the inbound and outbound traffic is secured and the unwanted traffic is curbed. Once the firewall has been established it can be distributed to as many VMs as possible.
Volumes
The volume is readily available to make sure that the data is safe and secure. The SSD storage has been installed which makes the hardware highly compatible. The DooxCloud servers can also be attached to the storage which can be the extent to 10TB.
Performance
AMD EPYC 2nd Gen and Intel® Xeon® Gold processors together with speedy NVMe SSDs mean that you get the best and the most advanced hardware. The speed is 10 Gbit/sec which is awesome to connect the infrastructure to the cloud network. You can also choose between the local and network storage.
Documentation and API
For the developers, DooxCloud provides the REST API and the CLI. The features are limitless when it comes to this service. Managing the cloud servers is highly easy with this service. The online tutorials are also available which are easy to understand. The different scenarios that are defined in the documentation are easy to implement and hence make sure that you get to learn the infrastructure easily.
Snapshots
Backup is the most important aspect of any cloud environment and this makes sure that the data is protected. The snapshots feature of the DooxCloud will make sure that you manually back up the data. The same feature can also be used to make sure that new servers are created or images are transferred during a project.
Backups
It is a picture of the server that will make sure that you get to save your data with ease. With DooxCloud you can save 7 backups and restore them later on.
Floating IPs
If the server cluster is available or redundant then the floating IPs can be used to make sure that the resources are equally and efficiently distributed.
Images
The images of OS are the most recent ones. The OS such as Ubuntu, Debian, and fedora are the ones that are supported and the best thing is that you get the release that is the most recent one.
Traffic
The cost is 1.19 EUR per TB. With the 20TB at your disposal, you can easily make sure that the bandwidth is limitless for all the projects. No matter which plans you choose you get the bandwidth that does not hamper your project deliverables.
Location
The data centers are located in Nuremberg, Falkenstein (Germany), and Helsinki (Finland). All the server instances that are stored are in these two data centers. The data protection regulation is strictly followed by European Union or Europe in general.
DDoS Protection
The security of DooxCloud is awesome and it makes sure that the data is protected against all attacks. The latest hardware that is used also fosters the process. It is free of charge and the best thing is the first-rate deliverables that are provided in this regard.
Data Protection
The data on your servers are protected following the GDPR. The Data Processing Agreement online will also be strictly followed which is following article 28 of GDPR. The correct location of DPA can also be entered once you get the service and pay for it.
FAQs
-
What is the Billing Structure?
There are two models. You can be billed on an hourly or monthly basis and your server will never exceed the monthly price whatsoever. If you delete a server before the month ends you are charged on an hourly basis. You will be billed for every server that has been built regardless of the usage.
-
What if my Server is off? Will I be billed for it?
As full resources and hardware is deployed for a server so it is important to note that you will be billed for the server even if it is off or you don’t use it frequently. We ensure that you get the best and the most advanced outcome with perfection when it comes to resource allocation.
-
Do you offer custom configurations?
At the moment the custom configurations such as additional RAM and spacious hard drives or SSDs are currently not offered by DooxCloud. -
What is thedifference between local and CEPH disks for servers?
With the local hard drives, the data is kept on the local RAID mirror on the host system. Such servers have high I/O and low latency. These are used to make sure that you get the best resources for the applications that require high-performing hardware. With the CEPH disks, all the data is kept remotely and there are blocks stored on each server. It will make sure that the resources are available readily. If the local hardware fails the server can be rebooted from the other location which makes it an awesome choice. -
Can I use Windows?
At the moment we offer Linux as the default operating system. You can install windows and the configurations have been successful. However, we don’t provide support for the windows at all. -
Will you be providingadditional locations in the future?
We are actively looking for such options in the future. -
How is Data Stored in Volumes?
Every block of data is stored on three different physical servers’ i.e. triple replication. -
How many servers can be created?
There is a default number that has been provided to each client. In case if you want to increase the numbers you can do it easily by opening a support ticket. Once the request is reviewed and if everything is up to the mark the server limit will be increased.
